The Powder Meister®
Since its creation in 1997, the Powder Meister® has become the instrument of choice for thousands of CEREC clinicians. Eight years of established relationships with CEREC users have provided us with unique insight into what clinicians want in a powdering device ---foolproof predictability, especially in clinically challenging situations.
Powder Meister® responded to the challenge with a new design released in January 2004 with huge success and rave reviews, making it a powdering device beyond comparison. The re-designed Powder Meister® carries the CE mark certification for sale in Europe.
Why are CEREC users raving about the redesigned Powder Meister®?
- The smaller bottle and overall size make it comfortable in all sizes of hands. The comparatively shorter nozzle length and the patented finger-tip directional control mean complete powder control at all times! Try all other powdering devices, and then try ours. The choice is obvious!
- The nozzle now features a patent pending Instant-Off mechanism. Pull the nozzle back and the powder flows. Release the nozzle, and powder flow stops! It's that easy!
- The unique nozzle design eliminates virtually all of the lumps commonly associated with Cerec imaging powder. This means there is no need to pre-filter the powder to achieve velvet-smooth powder application!
- A new built-in air restrictor automatically reduces the incoming air pressure of your dental unit to precisely the right amount for optimum powder coverage. No manual adjustment of air pressure, no clumping, no 'snow drifting' caused by too much air pressure!
- The built-in filter removes air-line moisture. There is no need to microwave the powder to eliminate moisture contamination of the powder.
- A new adjustable built-in air restrictor reduces the incoming air pressure of your dental unit to precisely the right amount for optimum powder coverage. The adjustable feature allows the instrument to be fine-tuned for each dental office's unique air pressure requirements or operator preference for air flow. Note: a minimum of 43.5 PSI (3 bars) of air pressure is required.
These features make the Powder Meister® able to provide outstanding optical images like this in seconds.
